This texture pack, named "Color Blind Simulation Vanilla Shaders" was created by Alvoria.

The following sites will always have the most up-to-date version of this pack which, Mojang and Microsoft permitting, will work with the latest version of Minecraft:

HOW TO USE THIS PACK
------------------------------------------------
This pack contains no textures or sounds. Instead, this pack contains a series of GLSL shader programs designed to simulate certain types of colorblindness.

To access a particular simulation, go into the Minecraft game options and click the "Super Secret Settings" button a number of times equal to the type of Color Vision Deficiency you wish to simulate:

0: Trichromatic Vision	-	Normal Human VIsion
1: Deuteranamaly -	Shifted Green Light Perception
2: Deuteranopia -	Green-deficient Red/Green Colorblindness
3: Protanomaly -	Shifted Red Light Perception
4: Protanopia -	Red-deficient Red/Green Colorblindness
5: Tritinopia -	Blue-Green Colorblindness
6: Tritinomaly -	Shifted Blue Light Perception
7: Achromatopsia -	Monochromatic Vision
8: Achromatomally -	Reduced Color Vision

These settings are organized by how common they are with the most common being first in list.

THIS PACK IS A COPYRIGHT FREE PUBLIC DOMAIN WORK
------------------------------------------------
I, Alvoria, creator of this pack hereby release it into Public Domain. I do so in the hope that it will be used to educate as many people as possible about the restrictions of Color Vision Deficiency, and allow those with normal vision to walk a mile in the shoes of those living with these conditions... if only for a few minutes in a video game.

The terms of this Public Domain release can be found at: https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/mark/1.0/

CREDITS AND THANKS
------------------------------------------------
I would like to thank the following wonderful internet people for their contributions to this pack:

Xot of gmc.yoyogames.com for his help understanding fragment shaders and in particular how to use a matrix to control colors.

Grar of minecraftforum.net for writing an outstanding tutorial on how to write shaders for Minecraft. You can find it here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/resource-packs/resource-pack-discussion/1255965-grars-guide-to-vanilla-shaders-wip

The find folks at daltonize.org for publishing some of their code and a myriad of papers, which I used to determine the -opia set of CVD values.

/u/PlanetCentauri of Reddit/r/gamedev for providing me with the illusive values for the -omaly set of CVD shaders.

The fine folks at color-blindness.com for a great deal of the information used in the creation of this pack, and providing a library of references for my research.
